Mist Cove
Overview
There is no "typical" trip aboard the Mist Cove or her sister ship the Liseron; each is unique. There character is defined by the passengers’ personal curiosities and interests, combined with the wonderful variety of experiences available.
The 24-passenger Mist Cove is a contemporary replica of the Liseron with a steel and aluminum hull. She is slightly larger throughout and boasts additional modern conveniences without losing the classic look and feel or her wooden sister.
Each day you will have opportunity to participate in an abundance of activities. The expeditions offer variety for guests of all ages and activity levels; some are just getting away to be with friends or family, quite a few are interested in conservation or wildlife issues and many are avid fishermen, hikers or photographers.
With a ratio of one crew member to every two passengers, the crew encompasses a wide range of expertise and includes trained naturalists, licensed fishing guides, gifted storytellers and many more.

Summary
We cruise the Tongass National Forest with the intent of introducing people, in an intimate way, to one of the world’s greatest places, in hopes that they too will feel this area is worth conserving for generations to come.
Our explorations are thoughtfully designed to immerse our passengers in their own experiences of Southeast Alaska, whether fishing, wildlife viewing, hiking by day, while also enjoying gourmet meals, fine wines and private cabins at night.
As the only nonprofit cruise line in the world, The Boat Company is actively addressing the conservation of Southeast Alaska in the halls of Congress and other governmental agencies.
